Alpha Steel panels and gates are much stronger than our competitors and complies with all of the various government imposed regulations including the Australian Standard AS1926. Our standard panels consist of 38X25mm punched rails with 19mm tubes and our gates frames are made from non standard 40X40mm RHS for better appearance and strength. A building permit is required before installing a new pool, spa, or barrier. This permit is usually issued by registered building surveyor and work must start within 12 months of the date that the building permit was issued.
In the state of Victoria all residential pool or spa has a depth of 30cm or more, it is required to be surrounded by safety barrier. This also applies to inflatable pools. It is illegal to leave a pool or spa gate propped open.
